On February 7th 2025, our founder, Lynette Johnson, was honoured as “Hero of the Week” by Love Thy Nation for her remarkable work as the founder of House of Basadi (Pty) Ltd, a social enterprise focused on empowering women at the grassroots level.
Through House of Basadi, Lynette is helping women develop practical handicraft and sewing skills, providing them with the tools to achieve economic independence and create a brighter future for themselves and their communities.
We are incredibly proud of Lynette’s continued dedication to uplifting women, and this recognition is a testament to her unwavering commitment to social change.
